Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (such as feta or mozzarella)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add the olive oil and warm water, and knead the dough until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a thin disk.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  6. Place a dough disk in the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned.
  7. Repeat with the remaining dough disks.
  8. Top the cooked pita bread with banana slices and shredded cheese.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
