Ingredients

  • 200 g cream cheese, softened
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 100 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the mashed bananas, milk, and melted butter until combined.
  5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt, then mix until the batter is smooth.
  6. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the cake is set and lightly golden on top.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
