- 200 g cream cheese, softened
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 100 ml milk
- 50 g unsalted butter, melted
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the mashed bananas, milk, and melted butter until combined.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt, then mix until the batter is smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the cake is set and lightly golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
